Xiaomi 11T Pro: Lightning-quick charging combined with middling imaging

Xiaomi 11T Pro
Xiaomi 11T Pro

Xiaomi aimed for the stars with the 11T Pro, but fell just short. The phone boasts several strong qualities, including an amazing display, fast performance, and blazing fast charging, but its cameras are poor and it lacks several additions that make it less appealing overall. While the 11T Pro is a great attempt to strike the right balance between price and quality, it fails to stand up to tough competition.

In its new 11T Pro, Xiaomi aims to appeal to consumers who are price-conscious while still wanting to get top performance from their phones. With its high-end specs and excellent price, this is a great choice for smartphone enthusiasts on a budget. In a sea of high-end midrange devices, can this “flagship killer” stand out?

Xiaomi 11T Pro: Everything you need to know

Xiaomi’s new 11T Pro is the top model of its new 11T line, which also includes the Xiaomi 11T and Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE. Designed for entry-level users, the 11T series is the successor to the Mi 10T series from 2020, released earlier this year just below the Mi 11 and Mi 11 Ultra. You might have noticed that Xiaomi has dropped the “Mi” branding for all of its future smartphones.

Many of the features of the Xiaomi 11T series appear the same as those of the Mi 11 range, such as processors and cameras, but they differ from other details, such as materials. Particularly the 11T Pro faces stiff competition from Samsung, Motorola, and OnePlus in the upper midrange. Despite having a lot going for it in some ways, it falls a little short in others. Balancing the two is critical, but we’ll talk about that later.
Xiaomi is offering three versions of the 11T Pro, one with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, another with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and another with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The 11T Pro comes in three colors: Meteorite Gray, Moonlight White, and Celestial Blue. China will be the first market to sell the phone, followed by other countries. Customers in the United States can buy the phone from third-party retailers online, though Xiaomi hasn’t said when the phone will reach those outlets.
